We have to talk just briefly about the difference that we make between our remodeling services and our renovation services. Remodeling literally involves taking everything that is in your kitchen right now and just getting rid of it to bring in new objects. Renovations do the exact opposite. You take what you have and you repair it to the point where it actually looks as good as new. Now, that we have gotten that out of the way we can actually start talking about our remodeling services in particular. Which happen to be one of the parts of our business that we enjoy the most. Since we are basically getting a chance to start all over again!
The first thing that we do when we are hired to take on one of these projects is to figure out where we are and where it is that we want to be. We could say that we sort of sketch a rough draft of this process before you actually hire us so that you can get a good idea of what we can offer. Once you actually hire us though you will see how we plan to go all in. The first thing that we need to make sure we can grasp is the amount of space that we have to work with because that can determine everything!
Do You Want To Keep Anything?
This is the first big decision that you are going to have to make. If you want to keep something that you have, but you want to make sure that it is going to fit in well with the new objects that you bring in we can help you out by renovating it. That way it won’t seem like it is an old mark on an otherwise completely new area. A lot of what we do is about finding the right fit!
Ok, so let’s set up a scenario here. You have already decided what you want to keep and what you want to do. Who is going to make the countertops or cabinets, floors even! This is a great question. We usually have a combination of things that we make like custom cabinets and other types of objects that are going to be coming from outside manufacturers. What we usually do is come up with the whole designed concept ahead of time. Based on that we are feeding you the different options that we feel could be a good fit for you. If you find something that you like in a catalog we can also put it in!
It’s A Space Game
A lot of the “success” that we can achieve with each of these projects will be determined by the way that we are able to fit furniture, appliances and open space together. What good are fancy countertops, and grills if you really have no room to move around in the kitchen right?
